Marine Life Watercolors

How bad are disposable shopping bags, really? What level of responsibility do we play in improving the health of our environment and our oceans? Why should we care? The Kiickstart Marine Life Watercolor lesson is part of the Art is Elemental Water Unit and addresses those questions and more. This 12 page booklet features four variations on the same lesson and provides thorough instructions, objectives, a materials list, process and timing, artists to investigate and a gallery of student samples. It is suitable for 5th grade and up! The work featured in this resource was created by Karen’s 7th grade students.
