Get it Out There! – Showing Student Work Outside of School

Two of my students had their work selected to be on display at the New Jersey Center of Performing Arts Winter Exhibit, in Newark, NJ. The theme is “Mixed Media”, for which 30 Pieces were selected from the pool of entries.  The show will be on display through February 9th, and is sponsored by The Art Educators of New Jersey.

AENJ offers many opportunities to showcase student work in a variety of venues around the state. All you have to do is be a member of AENJ to participate! Visit the website link above for more information. If you don’t live in New Jersey, contact your state art education organization to learn about their student exhibition opportunities!
